Happy Friday! As we enter the official holiday shopping season (according to the decor at some of our favorite department stores) we thought it time to share a few of our current Friday favorites: finds for the kitchen and pantry as well as the home and the closet.
Cedar Rose Petite Essence Diffuser: The San Francisco based home fragrance experts at Agraria have created a line of Air Essence products that diffuse through sola flowers – made one at a time – by skilled artisans using the dried peel of the tapioca plant that is sewn onto a cotton wick. In keeping with the Agraria definition of “from the earth,” sola flowers – also referred to as balsa wood flowers – are a natural material and environmentally friendly. We keep a Petite AirEssence in the bathroom and it smells so nice that I swear, guests over want to hang out in there.
Garden of Eatin’ Pumpkin Tortilla Chips: The truth is, it could be quite easy to polish off a bag of these chips in one sitting, salsa optional. Available through December 31, these aren’t sickly-sweet like a lot of pumpkin flavored goods, but blend salty and sweet for a delicious seasonal treat. Even though dipping is a personal choice, we would never miss an excuse to whip up some perfect guacamole or roasted tomatillo guacamole for a heartier snack.
Vineyard Hill Naturals Classic Jar Candles: Another item on the list of “ways to make your house smell good,” these hand-poured, soy wax candles are available in orange, red currant, meyer lemon, and fresh pineapple scents. For those of us who just can’t get past the fact that everything in a mason jar is adorable, the delicious candles are all packaged and repurposed in reusable mason jars. Let it burn.
Faux-Fur Vest from Banana Republic: Though we’re big fans of shopping sales and insider events, there comes a time (or times) in every woman’s life when you just need to buy the dress, purse, shoes or vest at full price. This vest is one of those times.
Stonefire Original Mini Naan: Good things come in small packages. If you love naan but have a hard time cutting yourself off after just one serving, you’ll love the miniature version of the authentic Indian bread baked in the extremely high heat of a tandoor oven. Make miniature naan pizzas, sandwiches, panini or simply dip them in your favorite stew or curry.
