This weekend I bought myself a present and decided to immediately test it out on a big pot of soup, perfect for one of the first real, true fall afternoons where you really couldn’t wear flip flops because it was just too damn cold and the leaves are turning COLORS like yellow.

I don’t know how I could have ever cooked without an immersion blender. I love it. Your soup sounds delicious, and thanks for mentioning my squash cutting tutorial!

Love emersion blenders! This soup sounds awesome. My mother recently made a sweet potato and pear soup that sounds very similar to this. I like the sound of butternut squash and apple better, however!
