If there is one thing I love about throwing a party, it’s the little touches that elevate a regular old night into a legitimate event. Women throwing a bachelorette bash usually think about swag — mini champagne bottles, beauty products, you name it. But why should us girls have all of the fun? Along with some ideas for your next girls’ night out takeaway, we have the ultimate party kit for both bachelor party and bachelorette party favors.
No matter what your plans are, the number one goal of any bachelor and bachelorette party is to have as much fun as possible. Whether it’s a guys’ camping weekend, a ladies spa day or a night of bar hopping and karaoke, every guest will enjoy a bag of sundries, snacks and…well, let’s call them party supplies.
See our favorite bachelor and bachelorette party favor ideas that will help you be the best man or maid of honor out there.
Bachelor Party Favors
Mini Bottles of Booze
Whether you’re planning a getaway to a hotel or campground, at least someone will forget the BYOB rule. Pop a couple of mini bottles of the groom’s favorite spirit into a fun pint glass and include one mixer: whiskey or vodka and ginger beer is a fun combination or gin and miniature bottles of tonic.
Must-Have Toiletries
Boys will be boys….that is to say, it’s likely that your guy will stock up on his favorite beer for a bachelor night out and forget to bring his shampoo. Toss a few travel sized sundries in a kit for your groom and friends…mouthwash, face wash and miniature shampoos are all good picks. If you want to be cost-efficient, pick a variety and the main man can mix match and share with friends.
Cheap Snacks & Eats
After a long night of partying, a midnight snack might be in order. Throwback to your college days with microwavable mac and cheese. Gourmet it is not, but it’s quick, cheap and might prevent morning after ailments.
Havana Honeys Natural Leaf Cigars
Even for the non-smoker, petite cigars are a great celebratory gift. Havana Honeys offer a premium smoking experience for bachelor/bachelorette parties along with weddings, poker nights and as a gift for a new dad. Energy Chews
If your group is prone to overindulging at the bar, or if you’re planning a sporty outing like mountain biking or a hike, gift everyone with a protein bars or a package of energy chews. I like them for long runs, but they serve a multitude of purposes and prevent dehydration.
Bachelorette Party Favors
Champagne
What’s a party without a little bubbly? At my best friend’s wedding shower, her sister in law and mother in law hand painted personalized wine glasses for everyone and I wrapped up miniature bottles of prosecco for everyone to take home. Start your party with a toast in a pretty or personalized wine glass — and then everyone can take home their memento.
Coconut Water
If you’re drinking champagne, you’ll want to rehydrate, either between sips or at the end of the night. Coconut water is all-natural way to hydrate, reduce sodium, and add potassium to diets. It’s also tasty and refreshing and can be lower in calories and sugar than typical sports drinks.
Lip Gloss
The one thing that I manage to forget every time I leave my house is lip gloss. I’m sure I’m not the only one, either. Pop a pretty flavored and/or tinted lip balm into everyone’s gift favor. It will come in handy when you’re out dancing and want a quick touch up and is a simple way to feel more pulled together when you’re on-the-go.
Nail Supplies
As cliche as it is, nothing will ruin a party like a broken nail. If you’re planning group mani pedis, buy a couple of bottles of popular colors for quick touch ups and make sure everyone has a nail file in their purse. You’ll mock me now, but you’ll thank me later.
Beauty On-The-Go
I’ve never been on a girls’ weekend trip that didn’t start with: “Do you have extra toothpaste/face wash/lotion/floss/hair ties?” Know your crowd and stock up on the must-haves. Distribute them evenly so everyone will be covered for everything.
Havana Honeys Natural Leaf Cigars
Even for the non-smoker, petite cigars are a great celebratory gift, and not just for the boys! They are available in multiple flavors, Original, Classic Cognac, Sweet Honey and Spiced Rum, all fun and unique. To sign up for free coupons and to find a retailer near you visit Havana Honeys website here.
Advil
This one is self-explanatory, no?
