From the time I was three until I went to college, I lived in Plainsboro, a tiny town adjacent to Princeton of Princeton University fame, which is a formal rural farming town turned suburban oasis for transplants from New York and Philadelphia. Award winning sports teams, 96% college admissions rate, a lot of fenced in backyards. As a teenager, it was the most boring place on earth and of course, I hated it.  Once I hit college in Pennsylvania which a large population from the great garden state, I realized that despite it&#8217;s reputation as the &#8220;Armpit of America&#8221; people seemed to have an inordinate amount of state pride.
