Luckily, when you’re in a place like Delray Beach — more specifically, The Seagate Hotel & Spa — it absolutely doesn’t matter.  The Seagate is a luxurious retreat that offers the comforts of a resort with the intimacy of a boutique hotel, befitting for a solo getaway, a girls’ weekend or a couples’ getaway.  Beyond the charming, beach-chic façade, there are so many features at The Seagate that I will probably think about until I find my way back to Delray Beach, located about halfway between Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach. The property is contemporary and comfortable, with guest rooms touting modern features, a full-service spa and fitness center, a beautiful private pool, six distinctive dining venues, and plenty of Florida beachfront charm. The lobby theme can only be described as “aquatic” which made it an extra-fun foray for this Chicagoan in the dead of winter.
