It&#8217;s also the unofficial kick-off to what I will at this time refer to as &#8220;pie season.&#8221; It&#8217;s when pumpkin spice everything gives way to all kinds of holiday goodies that just aren&#8217;t everyday desserts. Cookies and brownies? Those are more routine treats that pop up more often at the office, with your afternoon cup of coffee. Pies though, are generally reserved for special occasions. Luckily for pie, special occasion season is upon us.  1. French Apple Pie The filling in this French apple pie is almost like a custard, only with apples added. Think: good. Really, really good. 2.Pumpkin Praline Pie Here&#8217;s a pumpkin praline pie that&#8217;s traditional&#8230;but with a twist.  Graham crackers and cornflake crumbs combine together to make a crunchy and delicious crust for a rich and creamy pie. 3.
