		<description><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;m still recovering from yesterday&#8217;s food blogger bake sale in Chicago. It was a great day that started with a 6:15 AM segment on NBC 5 about the Chicago Food Blogger Bake Sale and ended after hours of brownies, cookies, cupcakes and of course: $885.00 raised for Share Our Strength to help fight childhood hunger in the US. Even though I used last night (and okay, most of this morning&#8230;and part of the afternoon) to catch up on the sleep I opted to forgo in lieu of baking for the past few nights, I&#8217;m still not entirely confident in my ability to form a logical, coherent thoughts. So, here are some photos from the bake sale, (all courtesy of Allie Osmar) that sum up the afternoon nicely. The location, Smash Cake Bakery was perfect, half-dozen hardworking volunteers lent support on-site and more than fifteen bakers helped make the day a success. It was also so much fun! I&#8217;ve said it before, but thank you to all of the volunteers. I&#8217;ve never been a part of an event that so many people participated in because they wanted to and not because it was required.
