I really like the idea of brown craft paper as a tablecloth. I like to wrap gifts in brown paper, but I've never thought of using it as a tablecloth.

My favorite way to decorate for a party is to use clear shot glasses as place settings. Depending on the occasion of the party, I'll fill them with sand and shells, water and a candle, or mini fresh flowers.

I try to just let my food be the "decorations"...I'm always too rushed at the last minute when having people over to do too much planning. That said, I use my plating/food choices to convey the theme best I can. I do LOVE the idea of brown craft paper instead of a table cloth, though! :)
