Ingredients
For the Chicken Strips:
¾ cup ketchup
1 onion, peeled and diced
1 teaspoon minced garlic
½ cup honey
2 tablespoons of Sriracha
2 tablespoons rice vinegar (alternate options: white wine or apple cider vinegar)
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
1 (25-ounce) package Tyson Crispy Chicken Strips
For the Sandwiches (optional):
1 English cucumber, sliced or cut into ribbons with a vegetable peeler
Fresh cilantro leaves, to taste
1 slider bun per sandwich
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Place the first eight ingredients in a blender and pulse until mixture is combined and smooth. In a large bowl or on a baking sheet, toss chicken tenders with about a cup of the barbecue sauce, reserving the rest for serving. NOTE: I suggest lining your baking sheet with parchment paper to keep the mess to a minimum.
Bake chicken strips for 18-20 minutes, or until chicken is heated through. Assemble sandwiches with your desired accompaniments on slider buns and serve warm.
