Serves: 8-12 sandwiches

Ingredients
  • For the Chicken Strips:
  • ¾ cup ketchup
  • 1 onion, peeled and diced
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • ½ cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons of Sriracha
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar (alternate options: white wine or apple cider vinegar)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1 (25-ounce) package Tyson Crispy Chicken Strips
  • For the Sandwiches (optional):
  • 1 English cucumber, sliced or cut into ribbons with a vegetable peeler
  • Fresh cilantro leaves, to taste
  • 1 slider bun per sandwich
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Place the first eight ingredients in a blender and pulse until mixture is combined and smooth. In a large bowl or on a baking sheet, toss chicken tenders with about a cup of the barbecue sauce, reserving the rest for serving. NOTE: I suggest lining your baking sheet with parchment paper to keep the mess to a minimum.
  2. Bake chicken strips for 18-20 minutes, or until chicken is heated through. Assemble sandwiches with your desired accompaniments on slider buns and serve warm.
