1 (9-inch) recipe pate brisee (or store bough pie crust)
Instructions
Prepare pie crust according to recipe/package directions. In a saucepan, combine the first six ingredients until blended. Gently stir in pears. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally; boil for 1 minute. Add butter. Pour into pastry shell.
Top pie with second layer of pastry crust, lattice style. Bake at 425 degrees F for 20-25 minutes or until topping is golden brown.
